Grohner wall slab factory AG in Grohn with Bremen.

With a share capital of 100,000 M in thousand shares to 1000 M Vegesacker and of Bremen businessmen created the Grohner wall slab factory in Lesum on 11 January 1906 with Bremen. The goal of the society lay in it, essentially the production and the sales of stoneware of operating winding and floor panels. For this purpose a manufacturing plant in Schoenebeck became, at which Bremen Vegesacker railway establishes, which took up the enterprise in the autumn of the yearly 1907. Already the year of the foundation locked with a loss, which increased 1908 to 180,000 M. After a compensatory additional payment on the shares up to the year 1910, resulted however a deficit, which started on zirka 130,000 Marks. In order to catch this amount, the share capital had to be lowered on  the company meeting from 11 October 1910 by a pool of the shares of one million to 500,000 M. In the same year the management let the factory by a steam boiler and a pulverizing plant for the raw materials extend; in order to achieve an additional increase of production, in the year 1912 the biskuitofen was increased, and one decided in the subsequent year to the building of an additional furnace plant. In the financial year 1919 the close convenient Actiengesellschaft north German steingutfabrik Grohn acquired a stock share of an enterprise, which changed 1920 completely into its possession. Under the new guidance the economic situation of the enterprise could be improved up to the year 1927, whereby the good paragraph affected the situation abroad substantially. Due to this upswing 1930 a again-developed tunnel furnace plant for the biskuitbrand of the tile pieces of broken glass were taken in enterprise. After this investment the work had to be shut down from 18.1. to 15.10.1932 due to the generally dropping prices, which were connected directly with the fall of the English Pound.

Only in the year 1933 full employment was again reached, since the work-providing measures of the realm government affected also the building market. After the Second World War, on 1 January 1958, the enterprise was taken over just like the steingutfabrik Witteburg and of Bremen the wall slab factory of the exclusive Gesellschafterin north German steingutfabrik Grohn
